2. Verarbeitungszwecke und Rechtsgrundlage der Verarbeitung

Zweck der Verarbeitung Ihrer Daten ist die Einladung Ihres E-Commerce-Shops zur Teilnahme an der E-Commerce Berlin Expo (im weiteren Verlauf "Messe"). Die personenbezogenen Daten werden zu Marketingzwecken verarbeitet, Rechtsgrundlage für die Verarbeitung der Daten zu diesen Werbezwecken ist die Einwilligung (Art. 6 (1) (a) DS-GVO).

Darüber hinaus dient die Erhebung personenbezogener Daten auch der Messung der Effektivität von Marketingmaßnahmen, die vom Verantwortlichen ergriffen werden. Die erhobenen personenbezogenen Daten werden nur für die Dauer der oben beschriebenen Messungen gespeichert, eine Speicherung personenbezogener Daten zu analytischen oder statistischen Zwecken erfolgt nicht.

5. Speicherdauer

Gespeicherte personenbezogene Daten werden gelöscht, sobald sie für die Erreichung des jeweiligen Zwecks ihrer Verarbeitung nicht mehr erforderlich sind (bis nach Ablauf der Messe) oder wenn Sie die Löschung der Daten fordern. Pursuant to Art. 14. 1-3 of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (the GDPR) (text with EEA relevance), the Controller informs you that:

2. Purposes of, and legal bases for, processing of personal data

The Controller contacts you to invite the e-commerce shop which you represent to participate in ecommerce fairs called E-commerce Berlin Expo (hereinafter referred to as the 'Fair'), i.e. for the Controller's marketing purposes, and personal data are processed to pursue the Controller's legitimate interests (legal basis: art. 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR), which is to carry out marketing activities to promote the Controller's Fair, in particular through information in the letter that encourages the addressees to participate in the Fair.

In addition, the Controller is always analyzing the course of the Controller's marketing activities in order to learn from and improve its activities and will process your personal data for this purpose as well. However, the Controller carries out these activities for the duration of the aforementioned processing. The Controller does not store personal data exclusively for statistical or analytical purposes. Personal data are processed to pursue the Controller's legitimate interests (legal basis: art. 6 (1) (f) of the GDPR), which is to improve the Controller's ongoing marketing activities through conclusions based on statistical and analytical activities.

• personal data will also be processed by the service providers used by the Controller: German postal operator; the service provider of the servers on which personal data are stored by the Controller (name and address of service provider: Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany and located at https://www.hetzner.com/rechtliches/impressum?country=us); the service provider who prepares the postal mailing for the Controller, i.e. uses the Controller's database, prints the letters, packs them and then sends them via German postal operator (name and address of service provider: Paragon Poland sp. z o. o. based in Krakow, Christo Botewa st. 6B, 30-798 Kraków, Poland).

5. Data retention period

Your personal data will be stored by the Controller for purposes mentioned for the duration of the invitation mailing and thereafter until the Fair has taken place, or until you oppose data processing. If you, or another person designated by the invited e-commerce shop, accept the invitation, then the rules for the processing of personal data of visitors to the Fair, including information on the duration of storage of personal data, can be found in the privacy policy available on https://ecommerceberlin.com/legal/visitors-data.

6. The rights of individuals whose data are processed by the Controller

• the right to access your personal data and the right to rectify, delete, limit processing and the right to transfer data,
• the right to object to such processing of your personal data,
• the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your habitual residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement if you consider that the processing of personal data relating to you infringes the GDPR regulations.

The rules relating to the exercise of the rights indicated above are described in detail in Art. 15 - 21 of the GDPR and Art. 77 (1) of the GDPR.

7. The Controller obtained your personal data from publicly accessible sources in the form of the website of the e-commerce shop which you represent.

8. Your personal data are not subject to automated decision making, including profiling.
